THE FOSSIL RECORD: VOL II - “LIVIN’ IN SIN”

Here is an absolutely RAWKIN’ track I wrote with my good buddy MATT CASEY that we began recording with JASON HALL in 2011. CALEB MUNDY and BRET BYARS laid down the bass and drums along with MATT’s guitar in the upstairs living room of the legendary CALDWELL HOUSE in NASHVILLE where I lived with a lot of great friends (and fantastic performers). From there we recorded my vocals and some killer HARMONICA by my main man GEOFF RAMSEY at our crews next residence, THE CASTLE.

Super proud of this track. It’s just a groovin’ classic rock vibe and I think these are some of the best riffs MATT ever came with writing with me. I got to play some really fun shows around this time, including going onstage right before CHRIS STAPLETON and the STEELDRIVERS at the MUSIC CITY BBQ FESTIVAL. MATT, BRET and CALEB actually had a short lived Thursday night residency at BB KINGS downtown around this time as well.
